It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene A. Foecke of Donnellson, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Foecke and Winnie Foecke (Winnike); and his stepson Edward LeTellier. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hanley; his daughter Nanook Arnold (Brett) of Donnellson; his grandchildren, Nolan Leveling, Nadia Leveling, Leah Flockhart (Justin), Rachel Arnold (Ben Wyatt) and Hanna Arnold; and his siblings, Jim Foecke (Jeanne) of Pilot Grove, Suzanne Mehmert (Larry) of Cresco, Iowa, Mari Lu Smith (Dave) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Bernie Foecke (Deb) of West Point and Joe Foecke (Jan) of Kansas City, Missouri.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
