He is survived by: his wife Connie Randolph; his children, Alan Ward of Bonaparte, Dennis Ward of Alabama and Linda Green of Bonaparte; and his grandchildren, Andy Ward (Jackie), Wyatt Ward (Wendy), Ian Ward (Julie), Emily Ward (Mike), Thal, Jake Ward (Christy), Zach Kreiss (Anna), Colby Kreiss (Katie), Nathan Losey (Hannah) and Trae Green. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established, in his memory, for the Donnellson Fire and Rescue.
