She was predeceased by: her parents, George Reu and Esther Reu (Swanson); her husband Willis Kirchner; and her sisters, Darlene Mecalf and Pauline Blacksmith.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Kirchner (Maureen) of Gretna, Peggy Crawmer (Robert) of Fort Madison, Susan Chaney (David) of Donnellson and Merry Spohnheinmer (John) of Carrollton, Texas; and her brothers, David Reu (Wanda) of Donnellson and Richard Reu (Deanna) of Donnellson, Iowa.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
