Gabel (Donnellson, Iowa), born in Lewistown, Missouri, who passed away on February 20, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh LaVelle and Naomi Cain LaVelle; her son-in-law Marty Hellweg; and her siblings, Tommy LaVelle, Jerry LaVelle and Jean Schneider.
She is survived by: her husband Everett Gabel of Donnellson; her daughters, Barb Boeding (Flavian) of West Point and Janet Hellweg (Craig Fedler) of West Point; her grandson Justin Knight of Donnellson; and her sisters, Stella Smith (Jack) of St. Peters, MO and Dorothy Menge of Jacksonville, IL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
