James Welp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Welp of Donahue, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Welp and Rita Welp (Schauer); and his siblings, Arlene Smothers, Mary Norene, Marilyn Walsh, Russell Welp, Tom Welp and Bud Welp.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Rogers; his children, Angie Herrington (Mark), Melissa Franklin (Dale), Kelly Hansen (Jayme) and Tony Welp; his grandchildren, Mason, Myah, Kylea, Makenna, Darian, Drake, Drew, Delanie, Jayden, Brayde and Rayghan; his great grandchild Adley; his siblings, Pat Cullen (Jerry), Joyce Kuhle (Ed), Rita Schlegel (Jim), Glen Welp (Philly), Gail Welp (Joe), Paul Welp (Sara) and Greg Welp (Diane); and his sister-in-law Janice Welp. He is also survived by many step-children, and grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ann Church, CEW, or Wounded Warriors.
