She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Smet and Letha De Smet (Lawrence); her daughter Christine Gaskey; and her siblings, Frank De Smet and Evelyn DePover.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Spicer (David), Davenport Iowa, Rebecca Worton (Rick), Tamara and Goss; and her brother Emil De Smet Jr. (Madge). She is also survived by her dogs and spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren.
