She was predeceased by: her parents, George Viet and Fannie Viet (Berends); her husband Joe Clapp, Jr.; and her siblings, Martha, Jennie, Ben, Herman and George.
She is survived by: her former husband Harlan Beninga; her children, Vernon Beninga (Metta) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Susan Kruger (Jay) of Poway, CA, Beth Kirkevold (Scott) of Waterloo, IA, Carol Fox (Dan) of Marion, IA and Debbie Sproat (Rob) of Amana, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Viet of Allison, IA and Lola Clapp of Cedar Falls, IA.. She is also survived by 3 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 8 great-grandchildren.
