He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Albert, Georgia Hain, Fred and Joan Vandenberg; his uncle Al Hain; his aunt Becky Vandenberg; and his cousins, Katie Hain, Rhonda Johnson and Ann Eilers.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Jedlicka; his children, Tyler, Allison, Mikaela and Megan; his parents, Kathy Vandenberg of Seward, Neb. and Rusty Bush of Utica, Neb.; his brother Carl Vandenberg; and his nieces, Keira and Gabi.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Gabriel's Catholic Church (21275 U Avenue, Reinbeck, IA 50669). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
