She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmuth Mayer and Alice Janssen Mayer. She is survived by: her husband Merlin Menken; her children, Kim Frontzak (Dave) and Rich Menken; her grandchildren, Nick Elliott, Alyson Lahmann (Brady), Austin Elliott, Kaleb Menken and MacKenzie Menken; her great grandchildren, Ezra Elliott, Elijah Lahmann and Peyton Lahmann; and her stepgrandchildren, David Frontzak, Jr. and Mary Frontzak. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date due to COVID-19.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Carol's honor to Dike United Methodist Church "Women In Mission", 439 Church Street, Dike, IA 50624.
