He is survived by: his wife Janice Dirks (Sickelka); his children, Jacqueline Vodraska (Kevin) of Spencer, IA, Brenda Grove (Scott) of New Hampton, IA, Ken Dirks (Jen) of Omaha, NE, Tracy Dirks (Pam) of Broken Arrow, OK and Dorinda Brenner (ED) of Alta, IA; his siblings, Robert Dirks (Janice) of Mason City, IA, Lynn Dirks (Deb) of Alta, IA and Barbra Lehman of Ruthven, IA; his uncles, Johnny of Witchita Kansas and Roland Dirks of Witchita Kansas; and his aunt Margie Nelson of California. He is also survived by 14 grand children, 32 great grand children and 2 great great grand children.
