He is survived by: his cousin Marvin Hagedorn; his wife Zelda Scott of Dickens, IA; his children, Carmie Miller (John) of Dickens, Marlan Hagedorn (Shelley) of Dickens, Pete Hagedorn of Dickens and Deidre Hoffman (Kyle) of Emmetsburg; his grandchildren, Ashley Atherton (Chad), Lyndsay Terveer (Tim), Mitchell Miller (Amber), Nathan Miller, Gabrielle Miller, Madison Miller, Caleb Miller, Austin Hagedorn, Kelsey Hagedorn, Trevor Hagedorn (Emily), Cole Hagedorn, Chelsey Schmidt (Hunter), Carey Smith (Anthony), Calley Klindt, Cammey Klindt, Haylee Logue (Roger), Hannah Hagedorn, Allie Hagedorn, Izzi Hagedorn, Amya Hoffman and Mylee Hoffman; and his sisters, Virginia Glaser (Dan) of Spencer, Ina Chapman of Spencer and Dianne Eldridge of Spencer.
In lieu of flowers, the Charles Hagedorn Memorial Fund has been established.
