He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon Carson and Mary Carson; his wife Carol Carson; his children, Jerry Dean Grabill and Kimberly Sue Carson; his daughter-in-law Missy Grabill; and his siblings, Laura Hayden, Beulah Payne, Hazel Philpott, James Carson and Lewis Carson.
He is survived by: his children, Cora Pruitt (Don) of Earlham, DeWayne Carson (Endisa) of Des Moines, Laura Belew (Leonard) of Redfield, Tom Grabill of Adel and Linda Alexander (Larry) of Redfield; and his brothers, Bill Carson and Joe Carson. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren; 37 Great-Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
