He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Algreen and Sheila Algreen (Richardson); and his sisters-in-law, Kim Algreen and Kim Wolfe. He is survived by: his wife Debra Kirkpatrick of Dexter; his children, Tiffany Dunagan (John) of Ankeny, Michael Algreen (Nikki) of Stuart, Lindsey Harding of Stuart and Riley Algreen of Stuart; his grandchildren, Braylie, Liam, Jasper, Kellan, Leo, Anthony, Amelia and Valor; and his siblings, Teresa Hoffelmeyer (Mike) of Winterset, Phil Algreen of Earlham and Alan Algreen (Teresa) of Earlham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
