With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norbert Frank Tigges of Dexter, Iowa, born in Dedham, Iowa, who passed away on May 14, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tigges and Elizabeth Tigges (Renze); his stepmother Minnie Tigges (Bauer); his brother George Tigges; his daughter Carol Lee; and his son-in-law Larry Moorhead.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Bock; his children, Vickie Moorhead of Adel, Kent Tigges (Cindy) of Humboldt, Jan Meister (Paul) of Kingsley, Mark Tigges (Angie) of Earlham, Todd Tigges (Zina) of Dexter, Mary Kaye Stratton (Dave) of DeSoto and Paula Foshe (Jeff) of Ankeny; his half-siblings, Joleen Miller of Ankeny, Mildred Wurzer of Coon Rapids and Vernon Tigges (Norma) of Dexter; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Clark of Lake City and Ruth Ann Bock of Hamlin; and his son-in-law Bob Lee of DeSoto. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
