He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Nation and Millie Nation; his son Jack; his sister Hattie; his brother-in-law Bill Hildreth; and his siblings, Irma Loghry, Francis Reynolds, Merlin Norton and Merrill Darrington.
He is survived by: his former wife Joanne Whitlow; his son Kevin; his wife Barbara Nation of Dexter; his son Greg Nation; his grandchildren, Angela Nation of Wisconsin, Jon, Promise, Theo Garcia, Andrew Logan and Noelle Campbell of Dexter; his daughter Amanda Little of Dexter; his brothers, Larry Nation (Mildred) of Melbourne, Glenn Nation (Joyce) of Des Moines and Gary Fisher of Carlisle, Iowa; his stepmother Carol Piatt of Dexter; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Piatt (Becky) of Winterset and Jan Powell (Kevin) of Stuart. He is also survived by Many Nephews and Nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Assembly of God Church and/or Dexter Round House – Non-Profit and/or Dexter Library and may be sent in care of Johnson Family Funeral Home.
