With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wayne Edward Hartz of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Hartz and Mable Hartz (Doerscher); his daughter Teresa Sargent; and his sister-in-law Carol Hartz. He is survived by: his wife Susan Hartz; his children, Kathy Claussen (Dale), Sheri Bonneur (Arlyn), Cindy Connell (Mart), Dwayne Hartz (Kathy), Lisa Holstein and Matthew DeWeerdt (Jill); and his brother Norman Hartz. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Susan Hartz and will be distributed to various charities of the family's choice.
