She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wells and Francis Wells (Fish); her former husband Eugene Lass; her spouse Carvel Van Meter; her son Douglas; her sister Jeanne Brooks (Ralph); and her brothers-in-law, Ronald Lass and Arlan Lass (Betty).
She is survived by: her sons, Dean R. Lass, Richard P. (Kathleen Lass), Jim O. (Linda Drew-Lass) and DeWitt; her grandchildren, Michelle Turner, Ryan Lass, Chelsey Lass, Garrett Lass and Keegan Lass; and her sister-in-law Joan Lass. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the DeWitt Referral Center, or the DeWitt Hospital Foundation with a designation to Fieldstone of DeWitt.
