He is survived by: his wife Mary Batey; his children, Michael Ricklefs (Tammy) of Davenport and Tavia Vital (Edgar) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Ixaya, Caiden, Cameron, Christopher, Chase, Colton, Chloe, Jeremy, Michaela and Logan; his great grandchild Ariah; his brothers, Steven Paulsen of Davenport and Bill Paulsen (Nancy) of Pueblo West, Colorado; his son Gary Paulsen; and his pets, Chica and Bella. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
