He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Kremer and Virginia Kremer (Green); his siblings, Galen Kremer, Norma Schmidt (Roger), Dennis Kremer (Sherry), Dean Kremer and Marlene Sieck; and his nephew Kirk Yoerger.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn McDevitt; his children, Christopher (Lindsay Kremer), Ami of Chicago and Emily Kremer (Josh Chamberland) of Dubuque; his sister Barbara Thole (Rick) of Dubuque; and his sister-in-law Sue Kremer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
