He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ehrler and Patricia Ehrler (Naney); his siblings, Brian, Stephen and Kristen Bruns; his mother-in-law Ioma Steward; and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Welch and Larry Steward.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Steward; his children, Angela, Michael Hofer of DeWitt, Eric and Cheryl Ehrler of Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Logan, Reagan Hofer, Ezekiel and Julia Ehrler; his sisters, Margot Stender (Craig) of Littleton and Lisa Hilliker of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and his sister-in-law Karla Ehrler of Bettendorf. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
