It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Warren Slightom of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Medora, Illinois, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Slightom and Gwen Slightom (Stice); his stepfather Fred; his son Stephen; and his sister Sharon.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie McGoldrick; his children, Julie Grubbs, Patty Edwards (Tom), LeeAnna Calderwood and Jim McGoldrick (Sherri); and his siblings, Larry, Floyd Slightom and Terri Cobb (Eddie). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines followed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Habitat for Humanity.
