She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kruse and Betty Kruse (Petersen); and her brother Alan Kruse (Janice). She is survived by: her husband Larry Spain; her son Jason (Carissa); her grandchildren, Ryleigh of Welton, Raegan of Welton, Dylan of Welton, Jesse (Jenna Olson) of Delmar and Jeremy (Amy); her great grandchildren, Emma of Maquoketa, Eli of Maquoketa, Ella of Maquoketa and Joseph (Mariah Reed) of DeWitt; and her siblings, Marilyn Mundt (Bob) of DeWitt, Bill Kruse (Susan) of DeWitt, Janet Ham (Jim) of Osage and Jolene Kruse of Bettendorf. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Welton, Charlotte, or Delmar Volunteer Fire Departments.
