We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2024, at the age of 86, Milton Ahlers of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Grand Mound, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Milton Ahlers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Ahlers and Velma Ahlers (Saddoris); his daughter Brenda Kohl; and his sister Roberta. He is survived by: his wife Rita Petersen; his sons, Bryan Ahlers (Colleen) of Omaha and Mark Ahlers (Wendy) of Papillion; his grandchildren, Jamie Jacobs (Jason), Megan Ahlers, Paige Callan (Travis), Alexi (Stevin), Carson, Karli Ahlers, Eric and Anna Kohl; his sister Donna Vann of Florida; and also Craig Kohl of Grand Mound. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Home (611 Fulton St, Grand Mound, IA 52751). A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (706 Smith St, Grand Mound, IA 52751).
Memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, or the Grand Mound Fire Department Building Fund.
