He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hinrichs and Marjorie Hinrichs (Hebdon). He is survived by: his wife Eleanor; his son Christopher; his daughter-in-law Dawn Hinrichs of DeWitt; his sister Diane Wuestenberg (Bob) of Johnstown; his siblings-in-law, Barbara and Bill Dies of DeWitt; his children, Hannah, Emma of Colorado, Greg and Danna Wuestenberg; his grandchildren, Lucas of Davenport, Sarah and Jay Lewis; his great grandchild Robbie of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Hunter, Henry of LeClaire, Jared and Lea Ann Dies; his great grandchildren, Brady and Brynlee of DeWitt; his nephew Greg Wuestenberg; and also Bob McGarry. He is also survived by grandchildren, his nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or Dewitt Volunteer Fire Department.
