He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Sr. Kleinsmith and Rose Kleinsmith (Witt); his siblings, Robert Kleinsmith, John Kleinsmith and Millie Berhenke (Dave); his brother-in-law Charles Headley; and his grandson Justin.
He is survived by: his wife Bernie; his children, Maura Cerling (Dan) of Mt. Juliet, Mike Kleinsmith (Tammy) of Bettendorf and Kevin Kleinsmith (Maria) of Spanish Fork, Utah; his sister Joan Headley; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia Kleinsmith and Linda Kleinsmith McAllister. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren.
