He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Wagener and Olga Wagener (Kurt); his brother John Wagener (Ann); his brothers-in-law, Arthur Goldsmith, Ed Nefzger, James Kirk, Alvin Clasen, Dennis Hines and Cliff Roiger; and his nephews, Jeff Hines and Kurt Clasen.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline Clasen; and his children, Joel Wagener (Debonie) of Rock Island, Ellen Wagener of Scottsdale, Dan Wagener (Dede) of DeWitt and Sara Broyles (Jason) of Davenport. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
