Lawrence Curtis McCormick Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Curtis McCormick of Dewitt, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas McCormick and Ann McCormick (Freund); his wife Elaine Reiling; his children, Dennis McCormick (Lori) of New Prague and Diane Fletcher (Ron) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Chris McCormick, Staci Kelley (Kip), Nate McCormick (Kara), Luke Fletcher (Courtney), Donovan Fletcher (Faith) and Bryant Fletcher; his great grandchildren, Hazyl, Izaya, Walker, Kaylee, Aubrey, Brody and Clayton; his sister-in-law Pat McCormick; and his siblings, Thomas "Mac", John and Pat. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the DeWitt American Legion.
