With heavy hearts, we announce the death of June I. Petersen of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Calamus, Iowa, who passed away on February 13, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian Grau and Agnes Grau (Griebel); her husband Robert Petersen; her siblings, Eleanor Grau Matzen, Ralph Grau and Verne Grau; and her son-in-law Robert Reimers.
She is survived by: her children, Lois Reimers of Davenport, Alta Mae (Ray Poe), Jean (John Vass) and Robert (Margaret Petersen). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
