He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard McGarry and Bernice McGarry (Shea); his daughter Lucienne "Lucie" Wells; his brother Jim; his brother-in-law Dick Lincoln; and his great grandchild Eldon Jepsen.
He is survived by: his sons, Gerald McGarry (Maria) of Goose Lake and John McGarry (Karen) of Clinton; and his siblings, Kay Lincoln, Dick McGarry (Betty), Paulette Frank (Dave), Paul McGarry, Helen Medlin, Steve McGarry (Shelly), Judy Fletcher (Dave) and Leona Seifert (Jim). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
