He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dalton and Mary Ellen Dalton (Forret); his son Todd James Dalton; and his brothers, Edward (Bernice) and Frederick "Fritz" (Mindy).
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Karma Kelly (Michael) of Bettendorf and Trent Dalton (Lori) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren, Bryce Kelly (Jessalyn), Brendan Kelly (Cara), Samuel Dalton (Claire Brejcha), Michaela Kelly and Benjamin Dalton; his great grandchild Gavin Eugene Kelly; and his brother Robert Dalton (Anne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or charity of choice.
