She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold and Helga (Weiss); her son Austin; her stepmother Mary Jane Spriggs; her in-laws, Bill and Betty Lee; her brother Norman; her aunt Florence; and her uncle Pete Schneider.
She is survived by: her husband Sam Lee; her children, Jennifer Banowetz (Tom) and Jason Lee (Amber); her grandchildren, Taylar Banowetz, Seth Eickert (Marion), Tori Banowetz, Spencer Lee, Alivia Lee, Magdalyn Rinard, Addison Lee and Sadie Rinard; her great grandchildren, Cayman, Hadleigh and Zealand; and her siblings, Robert (Joy), David (Julie), Donald Beuthien (Tammy) and Tina Ruprecht (Hans).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Homes (722 8th St, DeWitt, IA 52742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ (520 E 11th St, DeWitt, IA 52742).
