She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Rutledge and Susan Rutledge (Mosher); her son Dean; and her siblings, Harold Rutledge and Zeta Seymour.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Smith; her children, Craig Smith of DeWitt and Susan Klever (Brian) of Long Grove; her grandchildren, Melanie Westphal (Curt), Nick Smith (Amy VenHorst), Melissa Klingaman (Jeremy), Emily Gronewold (Bill), Matt Klever (Robyn), Andrew Klever and Laura Klever; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Hudson Westphal, Kailynn, Liam, Ryland, Harper Klingaman, Jase, Jaxon Gronewold, Tayton, Kyson Meyer and Archer Klever.
