He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonke Feddersen and Engline Feddersen (Paulsen); and his siblings, Ferdinand Feddersen (Karin), Heinrich Feddersen (Helene), Peter Gottburg Feddersen and Ida Carstensen (Moritz).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Knudsen; his children, Karen Feddersen of Atalissa, Sandra Roenfeldt (Scott) of Walcott, Dan Feddersen (Julie) of Ames and Deb Prier (Todd) of Ryan, Iowa; his grandchildren, Candace Rada, Hunter Roenfeldt (Makayla), Rachael Roenfeldt, Jake Feddersen (Julia), Ben, Amy, Sarah Feddersen, James Prier (Brynn) and Emily Prier; and his brother Honie Feddersen (Marielene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
