With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaylord Rasmussen of Dewitt, Iowa, born in Olin, Iowa, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gaylord Rasmussen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Rasmussen and Lilli Rasmussen (Hartwig); his wife Helen Pauline Laetare; and his sister Carol Cozart. He is survived by: his children, Carla Jessen (Tony), Gayle Rasmussen of DeWitt and Brad Rasmussen (Rita) of Eldridge. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Park View Lutheran Church.
