He is survived by: his spouse Jerilyn McLaughlin; his daughter Linda Bowman (Scott) of Maquoketa; his grandchildren, Brook, Nicole, Erin Mitchell (Andrew) and Mitchell Bowman; his great grandchildren, Theodore and Eleanor Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Karen Hess. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
