She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Schnack and Elsie L. Schnack; her brother Guenther Schnack; and her brother-in-law Roland Niemann. She is survived by: her children, Terry Lupo (David), Vicky Bean and James Bean (Tamara) of Cary; her siblings, Elizabeth Niemann (Roland) and John H. Schnack of DeWitt, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nathan Lupo (Jennifer), Jeffrey Bean (Savina), Timothy Lupo and Samantha West (James); and her great grandchildren, Hunter West, Aria and Ava Joy Lupo.
