Though Darrel may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darrel touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Del" Ryner and Olivene Ryner (Hartson); and his siblings, Bonnie Hahn (Don), Dale, Albert "Glen" and Steve Ryner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Marlies Gries of Davenport, Iowa and Nancy Wiese of Davenport, Iowa; and his sisters-in-law, Chong Ryner and Doris Ryner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
