He is survived by: his mother Juanita Shipler (Whitmore); his former wife Kathleen Carr; his daughter Dana Shipler (Robert Jarrett) of Calamus; his fiancée Carol Ostler; his stepdaughter Leona Jarrett Alacron; his grandchildren, Patrick Shipler, Lillie Small, Jayson Jones, Logan Jones, David Hayes, Jessica Frames, Chasity Whittaker and Whitney Frames; his great grandchildren, Kayelyn, Parker, Milo, Dawson, Mayson and Annabelle; and his siblings, Mary Ann Nordyke (Delbert), Colleen Heisel (Kerry) and Michael Shipler (Lindsey).
