He was predeceased by: his parents, Rinehardt John and Alta Marie Olga Passig (Ketelsen); his wife Ruth; his brothers, Duane Passig and Rodney Passig; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Bowman, Virgil Meyer, Earnest West and Rose Ada Meyer.
He is survived by: his son Roger; his daughter-in-law Jody Passig of DeWitt; his daughter Julie; his son-in-law Gary Reuter of Denmark, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Isaiah Reuter (Heidi), Justin Reuter, Chelsey Hertel (Jim) and Cody Berger (Meghan); his great grandchildren, Zaiden, Adalyn, Hazel Reuter, Hailey, Mia Hertel, Brynlee, Madilynn, Finnigan and Oliver Berger; his siblings, Sylvia Bowman, Fred Passig (Vickie) and Sally Knutsen (Gary); and his sisters-in-law, Jean Passig, Terri Shelton and Rita West. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
