She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewalt Emil "Abe" and Leone Krukow (Hoffman); and her brother Merlyn Krukow. She is survived by: her husband Donald Glenn Hesse; her sisters, Joyce Fletcher and Diane Christensen; her children, Doug (Becky) of Denver, Joellyn McDonnell (John), Susan Hesse of DeWitt, Kathleen Miller (Rick) of Leander, Barbara Range (Doug) of Lilburn and John of Cumming, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Monica Hesse (Rob Cox), Andrew Hesse (Molly), Paige Osburn (Armand Emamdjomeh), Shannon Schroetter (Phil), Josh McDonnell (Nicole), Jason McDonnell (Sarah), Adam McDonnell (Jill), Sean Hunter, Katie Rebers (Ryan), Austin (Jessica Miller), Courtney Lozano (Dusty), Nathan Hesse, Jade Helm (James), Jacob Range, Jenna Range, Jared Hesse and Justin Hesse. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Camp Courageous or Parkinson's Foundation.
