He is survived by: his wife Charyn "Cheri" Owens; his children, Tim and Kathy Dahlman (Eric); his granddaughter Emily Dahlman; his brother Carl (Suzy); his cousin Betsy Leach; his niece Sarah Jen (John); his great-nephews, Nicholas and Harrison; his great-niece Katherine; his nephews, John Mills (Julie) and Andrew Mills; his sisters-in-law, Peggy Conrad (Stan), Connie Anderson (Garry) and Nancie Flenard; his nephew Mark Anderson (Sue); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor and Anthony; his friend Krissi Kallemeyn; his aunt Carolyn; his uncle Lendol "Tim" B. Leach; his cousin Lendol "Tim" Sloan Leach; his brother-in-law Paul Flenard; and also, Buck, Glen and Aileen Owens.
The family requests that instead of flowers, gifts be made to Lost Nation Presbyterian Church, Lost Nation, Iowa, or First Congregational United Church of Christ, DeWitt, Iowa.
