With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Howard of Des Moines, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Howard and Ludeema Howard; and his grandson Luke Bush. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jane Brown; his children, Steve Howard (Mary) of Gainesville, FL, Sue Bush (Mike) of Des Moines, IA, Chris Howard (Melinda) of Columbus, MS and Jonathan Howard (Mike) of Larkspur, CA.; his grandchildren, Adrian Stinson (Drew), Lauren Wilson (Cody), Courtney Mathews (Chrissy), Morgan Bush (Klancey), Laura Dykstra (Josh) and Thomas Howard; and his great grandchildren, Mary Anderson, Julianna Stinson, Mia Wilson, Teddy Bush, Luke Dykstra and Grace Dykstra.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Fellowship Baptist Church in loving memory of Bill.
