Virginia Westrom Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Westrom (Des Moines, Iowa), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 63. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Virginia Westrom to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father John V. Egenberger; her brother-in-law Robert Larson; and her pets, George, Princess, Sadie and Thunder.
She is survived by: her mother Marian Egenberger (Vern); her daughter Johnna Valentine Bonta (Justin); her friend Chick; her husband Tom; her pet Lily; her siblings, Jackie Larson, Kent Egenberger (Lynn) and Edward Egenberger (Lori); her son Tommy Westrom (Stephanie); her grandchildren, Chloe Bonta, Blake Bonta and Jackson Westrom; and her close friends, Brenda, Robin, Chris, Sandy, Cheryl and Marlana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; cousins; and close/dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (600 6th Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Iowa – Stead Family Children's Hospital in honor and memory of our beloved Ginger.
