She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hines and Bertha Hines; and her half-sister Shirley Hines. She is survived by: her sister Anna Hines; her nephews, Johnathn Clayton (Melanie) and Charles Steffes-Clayton (Kristina); her niece Inga Brown (Ron); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas Clayton, Graham Steffes-Clayton, Atlas Steffes-Clayton (Gina), Johnathn Thomas Brown (Becca) and Madeleine Brown; and her nephew Rowan-Elizabeth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Blank Park Zoo in loving memory of Sue.
