She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Howk and Kathleen Howk (Dye). She is survived by: her husband Dick Flaig; her siblings, James Howk (Annette) and Dyeann Hildebrand; and her children, Mike Flaig (Lisa), Laurie Mersmann (Pat) and Tracey Gehrts (Jon). She is also survived by grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
