He was predeceased by: his parents, James Philips and Judith Philips. He is survived by: his wife Faye Delfino (Angel); his children, Brianna (Brian) of Cameron, E. J. and Eliana; and his siblings, Tim Philips (Barb) of River Falls, WI and Tricia Detjen (Paul) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Ambrose Cathedral (607 High St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
