He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Wilmes and Alfreda Wilmes; and the mothers of children, Terri Tuttle Wilmes and Lisa Wilde Wilmes. He is survived by: his siblings, Phyllis, Donna, Linda, Mary, Jerry, George, Andy, Sue, Laverne, Curt and Randy; and his sons, TJ, Dustin (Shavonn), Nate (Daelah) and Jordan (Brian). He is also survived by grandchildren, his 11 brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Arrangements Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
