She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Walters; her brother Floyd Walters Jr.; her granddaughter Shelby Rush; and her close friend Kirby. She is survived by: her mother Patricia Walters (Riepe); her husband Shannon Post; her sons, Kyle Carter and Jason White; her grandchildren, Amber White, Elizabeth Hentges, Emilee White, Kendal Carter and Gage Carter; and her siblings, Gary Walters (Janet), Lori Leeper and Vicki Caylor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and loving friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
