It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Oliver of Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Oliver and Burrell Oliver Sr.; his wife Paula Oliver; and his grandson Reagan Oliver. He is survived by: his children, Shawna Oliver (Evagelos), Cory Oliver (Davanh), Tifany Oliver and Cody Oliver (Emily); his grandchildren, Alyssa Oliver, Evan Oliver, Aidan Green, Darren Green, Olivia Oliver, Quincy Oliver-Knight and Rex Oliver; his sisters, Kristy Steele (Jon) and Nancy Pentico (Bob); and his sister-in-law Mary Oliver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Laurel Hill Cemetery (3601 E Court Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317).
