Steven J. Sims Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven J. Sims (Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on November 29, 2024 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven J. Sims to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Sims and Charlotte Sims; and his sister Arna Sims. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Sims; his children, Jerry (JJ), Lisa (Chuck), Ray (Sam), Danny (Autumn), Draper (Julie) and Michael; and his pets, Mabel and Smoky. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; five sisters and one brother.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hamilton's Funeral Home (605 Lyon St, Des Moines, IA 50309). The military honors will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
